2009 FAIR DATES SEPT. 2ND - 9TH
Tickets for any of the following events can be purchased online by visiting the
Online Box Office.
You can also purchase tickets by visiting the Van Wert County Fair Office between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm,
Monday - Friday, or by calling (419)238-9270.
-- The Jr. Fair Entry form is now available for download! This form must be filled
out by every Jr. Fair livestock exhibitor, and submitted no later than August 1st, 2009,
to the Van Wert County Fairboard Office.

-- The 2009 Senior & Junior Fairbook are now available for download! Please
note that these are draft copies of the Fairbook, and the Van Wert County Agricultural
Society will not be held liable for any incorrect information contained in these files that is
used for any purpose. If you have a specific question about the information contained
within, please contact the Fairboard Office at (419)238-9270. The final version of the
2009 Fairbook's will be made available soon!

-- Applications are now being accepted for the 2009 Van Wert County Jr. Fair King
& Queen. Completed forms should be submitted no later than July 25th, 2009, to the
Van Wert County Fairboard Office.

-- All entries into any category of the fair, including Jr. Fair entries, (Livestock, Vegetables, Sewing, etc...) will close on
August 1st, 2009, or must be postmarked by that date. Please be sure to get your entries in before
then.
The following livestock shows will have their entries close on the day that the shows are being held or as they have been held in years past:
Sr Fair Youth & Open Rabbit Show, Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009 @ 9:00 am
Open To The World Feeder Calf Show, Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009 @ 4:00 pm
Young Riders Open Horse Show, Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009 @ 9:00 am
Open To The World Market Lamb Show, Monday, Sept. 7, 2009 @ 5:30 pm
Ryan Trentman Memorial Open Swine Show Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009 @ 9:00 am

Van Wert County Fairgrounds offers a variety of buildings, open-air structures, grandstand,
racetrack, and up to 90 acres of outside grounds available for gatherings of any size!

Van Wert County Fair offers winter storage each year for boats, campers, RVs, & cars
beginning the last week in October. Small boat storage begins the last week in October.
Storage of large boats, campers, RVs, & cars begin the first week in November.
