DARE at the Fair 2022

DARE class derby, which runs first on the program, will be open to the first 25 registrants. All entry fees and auction money will go to the Van Wert County DARE. Invitees wishing to participate should consult theVan Wert County Fair website under the Fair tab and scroll down to the Demo Derby Rules and entry form. Refer to Front Wheel Drive Stock Class rules.

The entry fee for the DARE class is $125 and includes two passes to the event. There will be 100% payout, so with 25 entries the purse will be $3125 plus the winning bid for the auctioned-off car prior to the start of the event. The entire amount raised will be awarded to DARE. DARE class cars are welcome to run in other derbies later in the evening but must pay an additional $10 per derby.

Registration for DARE at the Fair is now open and is limited to the first 25 registrants. You may register in person at the Van Wert County Fair Office or by phone at 419-238-9270. We would encourage you to contact one of us as soon as possible, so that we may provide information as to where to obtain a car, how to build a car or to connect you with a driver if needed.
