2007 EMERALD FOREST POTTERY COMMEMORATIVE BOWL SET
Limited Edition Large Bowl & Small Non-numbered Bowl
(Photos of actual bowls) The fronts of both bowls feature the Fair Logo and are dated. The back of the LARGE BOWL ONLY displays the roster of the 2007 Board of Directors and is numbered. The back of the Small Bowl is plain.	Bowls created exclusively by Gloria Craig, area artist/potter & owner of Emerald Forest Pottery, Cecil, OH 419-399-2757 www.emeraldforestpottery.com Large Bowl measures 5 1/2" tall, 9" diameter at top, 4 1/2" diameter at base. Small Bowl measures 4 1/2" tall, 6 1/2" diameter at top, 3" diameter at base. (All sizes approximate, as each crock is handmade.) Stoneware is safe for use in conventional oven, microwave, or dishwasher. Avoid sudden temperature changes. Do not place on hot stove burner. ON THE BACK:
150th Anniversary, Van Wert County Fair, Van Wert, Ohio

The Van Wert County Fair was first held in 1855 at its present location but was closed one year during World War II. The first grandstand was built in 1903 at a cost of $2,900. The grandstand was destroyed in a windstorm in 1905 and rebuilt at a cost of $3,107. It was destroyed by fire in 1927, was rebuilt in 1928 at a cost of $10,955. An additional 64’ was built on the west end in 1946 resulting in the current seating capacity of 2800.
