2010 Van Wert County Fair Admission Tickets

ATTENTION! MEMBERSHIP CERTIFICATES & SEASON TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED BEFORE 5:00PM ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2010. These tickets will NOT be sold after the fair begins.
FREE --- CHILDREN 8 YEARS OF AGE & UNDER $18.00 --- MEMBERSHIP CERTIFICATE: - Available 02/01/2010 - Persons 9 years & older - Good for admission all week. - Purchase only at Fair Office by Wed September 1, 2010, at 5:00pm EDT. $18.00 --- INDIVIDUAL SEASON TICKET: - Available 07/20/2010 - Persons 9 years & older - Good for admission all week. - Purchase at various locations throughout the county (see list) - before 5:00pm, Wed September 1, 2010. $6.00 --- SINGLE VISIT ADMISSION TICKET: - Persons 9 years & older - Purchase at outside gates during the fair - beginning Wed September 1, 2010, at 5:00pm.

Restrictions

For the safety of all visitors, the following restrictions (including, but not limited to the following items)
are enforced during the fair at the Van Wert County Fairgrounds:

NO DOGS except for dogs used as seeing-eye dogs and dogs entered in a show.
NO LASER POINTERS.
NO CATS OR EXOTIC PETS.
NO SMALL MOTORIZED VEHICLES, such as (but not limited to) golf carts, 3-wheelers, or 4-wheelers without prior authorization from the Fair Manager. Wheelchairs and handicap-type carts are not restricted
NO VEHICLES, including CARS, TRUCKS, MOTORCYCLES, MOPEDS, BICYCLES, and NON-HANDICAP SCOOTERS allowed in the midway section of the fair while the midway is operating, without the permission of the Superintendent of Police & Parking. Vehicles must be parked in appropriate designated parking areas. This does not apply to emergency or fire vehicles

The Van Wert County Agricultural Society shall not assume responsibility of any accident, injury, damages, illness, death, or any other casualty that may occur on the fairgrounds to any exhibit, concession, contestant, entry, individual, general public, vehicle, or property, but shall use to the best of its availability all resources of safety and protection in order to safeguard the public.

Emergency Veterinarians During Fair

NON-RACEHORSE ANIMALS: Dr. Scott Trapp Van Wert Veterinary Clinic 11251 Van Wert Decatur Rd Van Wert, OH 45891 (419)238-2434 Non-Racehorse vet not on grounds.		RACEHORSES: Dr Jason Kessen 840 Ohio St Delphos, OH 45833 (419)692-5946 Racehorse vet on grounds ONLY during horseracing events.
Individual needing assistance must contact veterinarian. Fairgrounds not responsible for contacting veterinarians.

TELEPHONES:

2 Public Telephones are available
for use on the west side of the Fair Office
during the fair. Local, Toll-Free, Credit Card,
Collect, & 911 calls may be made
using these phones.

WHEELCHAIR/HANDICAP
SCOOTER RENTAL:

Wheelchair & Handicap Scooter rentals
are available in the Commercial Building
during the fair.
Daily or weekly rentals available.

PICNIC AREA:

A Picnic Area is located southwest of the
Horseshoe Court, west of the
Senior Fair Horse Arena.
Several picnic tables are available
for use in this area.

Barnyard Babyland:

Near Ticket/Treasurer's Office:
South across road near creek (Restrooms)

Grandstand:
Restrooms for those inside Grandstand area

Items maybe removed from the Commercial Building on Sept. 8 from 9:00pm-11:00pm and on Sept. 9 from 8:30am-4:00pm. All items must be out of the building by Sept. 9, 2010 at 4:00pm.
