Camping permit fees for the 2013 Van Wert County Fair MUST be paid in full by November 1, 2012
to reserve camping lot. $25.00 per month late fee added through January 31, 2013!

Van Wert County Fairgrounds offers a variety of buildings, open-air structures, grandstand,
racetrack, and up to 90 acres of outside grounds available for gatherings of any size!

FACILITY
DESCRIPTION
Camping Area
Groups & individuals will find water & electrical hookups at most locations (approx 800 sites),
plus 20 full hookup (30A) sites. Some shaded camping areas and dump stations are available.
Junior Fair Building
This 50' x 150' multi-purpose building is used for all types of events. It has handicap
accessible restrooms, more restrooms with showers located in basement, & a kitchen. It also has
a stage & sound system. The building is heated & well insulated. Available Year Round.
Administration Building
This building has two (2) rooms - The "EMR", 30' x 50' (no smoking), heated, with sound and
the "Annex", 45' x 55', insulated only. With restroom facilities, these rooms may be used for
meetings & small banquets. Available Year Round. Both rooms are air conditioned.
Commercial Building
This building is 100' x 200', with restrooms, and is used throughout the summer for wedding
receptions, dances, flea markets, swap meets, sales & large meetings. It is insulated, but has
no heat. In the winter months, it is used as a storage area for RVs, boats, and cars.
Agricultural Building
A 50' x 110' exhibit hall used for wedding receptions, dances, flea markets, etc. This building is
insulated, has no heat and serves as a winter storage for boats and cars. Handicap accessible
restrooms & handicap accessible shower facilities are located next to the building.
4-H Horse Barn
Winter storage for RVs, boats, & cars.
Farm Focus Arena
This 50' x 100' open-sided ground floor building may be used for livestock auctions & shows,
meetings, and game area. Bleachers are available. Restroom & shower facilities are nearby.
Baby Land Arena
This 50' x 80' open-sided cement floor building may be used for livestock auctions & shows,
meetings, or used as a game area. Bleachers are available. Restroom & shower facilities are
located in this building.
School Exhibit Building
Enclosed building, 30' x 35'.
Farmers Daughter Building
Enclosed building, 30' x 40'.
Chicken Shack
Enclosed building, 40' x 40'.
Crestview Pavilion
Open-sided pavilion, 25' x 60'.
Winter Storage
Van Wert County Fairgrounds offers winter storage each year for boats, campers, RVs, & cars
beginning the last week of October.
All spaces available on first come, first served basis. No reservations will be taken.
Storage Rate: $130.00 for up to 20 feet, $5 per foot over 20 feet, plus tax
Small Vehicles (Boats, Motorcycles, etc) storage
begins October 23, 2012in the Agricultural Building.
Large Vehicles (Campers, RVs, Cars, etc) storage
begins October 30, 2012 in the Commercial Building.
Special Storage Hours: M-F 7:30am-4:00pm, Sat 8:00am-12 Noon
(These special hours in effect until buildings are filled.)

Winter Storage ends April 5, 2013.

2013 Stall/Tack/Feed Rates
All stall rent due between the 1st and 10th of the month. Late payments charged on the 10th of the month.
Rental of three (3) horse stall entitles renters to 1 free tack OR feed stall.
