Bear Hollow Wood Carvers
September 2-5th, 2011, Beginning at 11:00am
South of the Jr. Fair Building

The Bear Hollow Carvers will be doing 4 shows per day
at 11:00am, 2:00pm, 5:00pm, and 8:00pm. All carved pieces
will be auctioned to the highest bidder on
Monday, September 6th, 2011, at 8:00pm.

Ultimate Air Dogs
September 2-4th, 2011

Ultimate Air Dogs, one of the premier dock jumping organizations in the country, will be back at the 2011 Van Wert County Fair. The event features, dogs run down a dock and fly into a pool, with the distance judged from the end of the dock to the base of the dog’s tail. Each competitor gets two jumps per Splash, with the bigger of the two jumps counting as their score. Many people come to our events just to meet our president and main announcer, Milt Wilcox, the former Detroit Tiger pitcher famous for winning the 1984 World Series!
