Open to all Van Wert County school children grades 1-12, including
students in public and private schools,as well as those who are home
schooled.
Each child may enter one time in either the one- or two-dimensional
art form category.
Since it is the Apple Festival, students are encouraged to include
and use ideas about apples, fruits, bees and pollination, Johnny
Appleseed, and other nature.
Student's name, address, and school represented should be on the
exhibit.
Entries should be submitted on Thursday, October 14, 2011 from
3:00-6:00pm, at the Agricultural Building on the fairgrounds.
Teachers bringing items should also bring staplers, pins, tacks,
and other supplies needed to display the entries.
Judging will be held on Friday, October 15, 2011 after 9:00am
by Wassenberg Art Center personnel.
Grade divisions: 1-3; 4-5; 7-9; and 10-12.
Awards will be presented and winners' pictures will be taken
at 2:00pm on Saturday, October 16, 2011.
Entries are to be picked up between 4:00-5:00pm on Saturday
or at the Fair Office after that time.

YOUTH PUMPKIN/SUNFLOWER CONTEST
Entries to be placed on Thursday, October 20th, between 4:30pm and 7:30pm at the Agricultural Building.
Weigh-in of the pumpkins & measuring of the sunflowers on Friday, October 21, before 11:00am.
